Fixed rate

We put all the Retail Electricity Provider companies we represent to compete against each other for your business. They know they are competing, and this is how we can offer you among the most competitive rates in the market. The Fixed Rate is a secure, guaranteed price of your electricity for the term of the agreement you sign with your provider.

MCPE (Market Clearing Price of Electricity)

With typically lower prices than fixed rates, this variable rate product allows your company to save more on your bill, with the option to secure your rate at any time. MCPE taps into a previously planned excess production of electricity, which as the name says, has a lower, clearance price. This product follows the Natural Gas price index of the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Hybrid rate

A combination of fixed and MCPE rates. You can choose what percentage of your bill is under a fixed rate, and what percentage under MCPE.

Heat Rate

The Heat Rate Product is less risky than products that are based on real-time markets, such as the MCPE product, but it still represents additional risks when compared to the Fixed Rate Product. Of course, that additional risk presents you with an opportunity to realize lower electricity costs if natural gas prices move down, whereas a Fixed Rate Product would not provide you with any benefit if natural gas prices move down.
